Struggle to halt land encroachment by India: Nepal Maoist leader

Finally, some words of relief for Nepali citizens who have either overnight turned into the Indian citizens or at best whipped off from their own territory by the Indian security forces all along Nepal’s southern border with India-the declared coercive neighbor in the South.
“We are well abreast of the Indian occupation of Nepali lands all along the border….recently they have occupied some of our lands in Susta and in some other parts of the country”.
A senior leader of the Nepal Communist Party-Maoist- the party leading the government- made these sharp remarks today, January 10, 2009, in the capital.
“We will soon wage yet another round of struggle against expansionist India”, said Mr. Mohan Baidya Kiran.
“Foreign interference is at its peak, the Indian interference over the appointment of Nepali priests at the Pashupati Nath temple is the gross violation of our sovereignty”, added Mohan Baidya who is considered to be a strong nationalist inside the Maoist camp.
“More so, foreigners and their local cohorts are also conspiring against our government”, added Baidya.
“Let me remind you all that the Maoists will not forever stick to power…we are committed to ensuring full rights of the people and that we will ensure it at any cost”, said Mohan Baidya-Kiran adding, “We will take to the streets to make the voices of the people addressed by the concerned authorities.”
